Although lasting changes will take billions of dollars and cutting edge technology, smaller efforts will not go in vain. Nonprofit ZeroFoodprint (founded by Anthony Myint, Chris Yang & Peter Freed) has created an Earth Day Campaign in which participating restaurants around the U.S. will donate $1 per cover to help offset their carbon footprint.
